Contribute to The Pennsylvania Fireman Magazine

We invite individuals, firefighters, EMS personnel, and industry professionals to share their expertise, stories, and knowledge with The Pennsylvania Fireman. This magazine has been a trusted resource for the emergency services community for over 80 years, and we value the contributions of those who help us continue to inform, educate, and inspire our readers.

We welcome submissions from:

• Firefighters with real-life experiences, training tips, or advice.
• EMS professionals offering insights into emergency medical services.
• Rescue personnel with expertise in techniques, equipment, or operations.
• Industry experts in fire apparatus, equipment, and services.
• Fire, rescue, and emergency service departments sharing news, events, or notable achievements.

Types of content we accept:

• Articles on fire safety, emergency services, training, equipment reviews, or industry trends.
• Success stories of fire departments overcoming challenges or achieving milestones.
• Event recaps or announcements about fire-related events, training, or conferences.
• Convention announcements for future dates. Please keep in mind that submissions are due 1.5 months before the publication month.

Submission Guidelines:

• Length: Articles should be between 500-1,500 words.
• Format: Submit content in Word or Google Docs format. Please include high-quality images or photos when relevant (300 dpi preferred). Do not embed images in the document, rather upload them separately with the submission.
  If submitting an event/training announcement, you may type up all the details in the form without uploading a separate document.
• Content Focus: Articles should be educational, relevant, and aligned with the interests of emergency services professionals.
